Arnold P. Anderton

Anderton, Arnold P. "Andy" 76, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2013 after a breif illness surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Wilfred and Agnes (Parker) Anderton. He was the loving husband of Mavis (Rosenquist) Anderton, with whom he would have celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary in April. He was the father of Cheryl L Brewer, her husband Alvan G Brewer 3rd, and Christine Deal. He was the grandfather of Crystal and Amanda Deal, Steven and Stephanie Brewer; great-grandfather of Bailey Guerrero; brother of Paul and Roy Anderton and the late Ralph and Carl Anderton. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Andy worked as a sales representative for Furnace and Duct Supply Company before retiring. He was a 1954 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and served in the army during the Korean conflict era. His burial will be private. At the request of his family donations in his memory can be made to the Patrick Swayze Pancreas Research Fund Established

Arnold was sooo good to his Uncle Ronnie (my dad) when Dad lived in Cranston. He was loved and appreciated. Even tho' I live in Michigan now, I have never forgotten my cousins. I am very sorry for your loss and know he will be missed.
