Maurice "Moe" Beauvais

Maurice “Moe” Beauvais 69, passed away peacefully Sunday July 20th surrounded by his family. Born in Central Falls, Rhode Island he was the son of the late Richard and Yvette Beauvais. He was the beloved father of Dawn M. and Curt C. Beauvais and grandfather to Kayne Beauvais. Moe had three step sons; Kevin and Michael Whitman, Michael Cronin Jr. as well as two step daughters Kimberly Marshall, Susan Bassett and nine step grandchildren. Moe was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War. Moe had a great sense of humor and couldn’t be without his electronics or movies. He had a kind heart and loved his family, friends and his dog "Sammy". A Memorial Service will be held on Monday July 28th at 6:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service (5:00-6:00pm).

Moe was a good friend.He was very active when he moved in here,playing cards and planning dinners and activities.He was liked by all and was very social. Though he wouldn't sing alone we all heard the lovely voice he had.My sincere condolences to you Dawn and the rest of the family...He will be missed!!

I went to grammar school at Notre Dame with Maurice. I remember him as a sweet, shy boy. I'm glad he was loved and appreciated.
