May your family find it comforting, in some small way, to know our thoughts are with you at this most difficult time. My last memory of being with John was the Christmas party at Sport's Tap where he sang "It's a Wonderful World!" (his favorite song at Karaoke). Always a smile, always a great guy! He will be missed by all of us.

"Sorrow comes in great waves...but it rolls over us, and though it may almost smother us, it passes and we remain." - Henry James

My Grandfather John was a happy man with a sense of humor (that I can proudly say was passed on to me) and always spread his laughter on to those surrounding him. Although it breaks my heart to be writing this, I also know deep down in my heart that Grandpa John would rather the ones he loved celebrate his life rather than mourn his death. Easier said then done. There are so many things I am going to miss about my grandfather which only proves how much happiness he brought into the lives of the people around him. Every person he left behind was also left with humble memories of him that will remain with us until the end of our days.
