Lillian M. "Lee" Moore
Moore, Lillian M. (Francis) "Lee" 89, of Cranston, Rhode Island passed away February 5, 2017 at Fatima Hospital surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was the wife of the late Albert Moore of Cranston. Lillian grew up on Wickenden Street in Providence and was the daughter of the late Francisco M. "Frank" and Mary Francis. For 25 years Lee worked as a machine operator at Elmwood Sensors in Pawtucket. She is survived by her son Gary Moore, son in law James J. "Buzzy" Maguire Sr. both of Cranston, granddaughter Lori L. Nascimento and husband Clayton of East Providence, grandson James J. Maguire Jr. of Cranston, two great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Lee was also the mother of the late Deborah Maguire. Lee is loved and remembered by all of her family, friends and neighbors on Waterman Avenue. She spent her summer days gardening in her yard filled with flowers and vegetables and her summer nights sitting on her front porch chatting with neighbors and feeding her beloved neighborhood cats. She was truly a staple in the neighborhood. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 8:45am from The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthews Church Cranston at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery Cranston. Visitation to which family and friends are invited will be held on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00pm.
