Fred passed on February 28, 2017 Peacefully Surrounded by Family and Friends. He was in the care of Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI for End Stage COPD. Fred worked as a Welder for General Dynamic and constructed Roof Trusses for RI Roof Truss Company.
Fred was married to his beloved wife Maria A. Davis since June 30, 2004. He was born November 3, 1951 in New Philadelphia, Ohio to the late Raymond D. Davis Sr. & the late Helen W. Davis (Blackwell). He lived in New Philadelphia, OH until 1970’s when he moved to Providence, RI.
Fred is survived by Maria A. Davis (Leon), Proud Father of 3 Children Constance M. Belliard (Davis), Fredrick A. Davis Jr., & Timothy T. Davis Sr. Loving Grandfather of 4 Joshua N. Scott, Gabriel I. Belliard, Timothy T. Davis Jr, & Kaitlynn M. Davis. Fred was 1 of 9 children Charlene W. Estenschied (Hupp), the late Janet M. Ranta (Hupp), Donald E. Hupp, the late Beth E. Kieser (Hupp), Gaye E. Stockwell (Hupp), the late Thomas L. Hupp, Raymond D. Davis, & Lavern J. Graham (Davis). Fred also leaves behind Elder O. Orellana, Francisco & Yaniberki Isalguez, Soledad Caly, Hector Leon, Xiomara Leon, Heather Leon, Noe Leon, Roxana Rodas, Jose Rodas, Allison Rodas, Geraldene Leon, Fred was an assistant (Volunteer) football coach for Mount Pleasant High School 1989-1994, loved Fishing, was an Avid Hunter, RI State Field Archery Association President from 1993-2000, Placed Third in the New England Sectional Tournament 1998, was a Integral part of keeping the field Archery and Target Archery sport alive.
