Mary D'Ambrosio
Mary D'Ambrosio ( DeSimone) 88, of Cranston passed away on February 4, 2012. She was the wife of the late Marshall D'Ambrosio. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Christine and Patrick DeSimone and she lived in Cranston for the past 65 years. She was the beloved mother of Marilyn Greim (John) of Cranston, Arlene Daley (Richard) of North Kingstown and Marshall D'Ambrosio Jr. (Patti) of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of John Greim Jr. (Nancy) of East Greenwich, Mary Gallo (Robert) of Cranston, Sarah Kurtzman (Hank) of Newton, Ma., Meghan Daley of Houston, Texas, Alyson Daley of North Kingstown, and Ashley and Nicole D'Ambrosio of Cranston. She was also the great grand mother of Alex and Kristina Greim and Baby Kurtzman. She was the sister of Christine Montecalvo of Cranston and the sister of the late Patrick DeSimone, Joseph DeSimone, Ann Grande and Ella Brown. She was an avid golfer and as a member of the Alpine Country Club for 40 years and was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Cranston. She loved to play bridge and was a devoted mother to her family. Her funeral and burial were private.
