Michael Liljegren - 07/13/2013

My aunt was a very wonderful woman. The best times I had with her came while I attended the Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. Aunt Mary would offer me rides from the Kingston Amtrak station or PVD to my mother's house or Bob Larned's house in Narragansett, and she would ALWAYS bring over Catanzaro's pizza, Buddy Cianci's Marinara Sauce, and some Narragansett's for my friends and I. I remember the first time I met Mary was at the Twin Willows, and she employed her school teaching skills to quiz an 7-year old on my math skills...I'll always remember that she said I was a smart little boy and that she wasn't just saying that because she was my aunt! I'll miss Mary, and I know that every one of her friends and family members will miss her as well. We love you!

Tom and Patty; So sorry to hear of Mary's untimely passing. I will always remember Mary for her friendship and kindnesses. When I was around 18 or 19 Mary was just 21. Heidi Cockerill - 07/15/2013

Mary was a wonderful Aunt. She was funny and sweet- always full of laughs and she had a wonderul sense of humor. I started teaching the year she retired and I'll never forget the care package she sent me full of teacher stuff- stickers, stamps, note pads and pens. It was so thoughful. I wish that we would have had more time to swap naughty student, crazy coworker and grouchy principal stories. I can only hope that my two sweet babies, Thomas and Katelyn, will have someday have a teacher like Mary to inspire them. You will be missed by so many Mary. We love you!
