Dear Ed and the girls,
No words can describe our sorrow at the loss of your dad. He was a man that we all admired and respected. I often think of all the hours we spent together on some job or other over the years. Unfortunately, Mimi and I will be out of town attending a family funeral and mom is not to the stress of travel. However, our thoughts and prayers will be with you on Saturday as you bring Ed to eternal rest with his Brothers in Arms.

Tiffany Beseau-Clayton - 08/30/2013

I had the pleasure of knowing Mr Yates through my grandfather's WWII reunions (Larry Schulte). I had the pleasure of interviewing Ed in Kansas City several years back, for a DVD we made just for the families of the 312th. He and Evie were both sweet souls and I enjoyed visiting with them when we were together. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
