Mrs.Bell was truly a great lady. Not only was she beautiful and classy, she was sweet and caring. I feel lucky that I knew her. I will miss her.

After she moved here from Nova Scotia, my mother and Madelyn became best friends and she has known me all of my life. She was a dear and precious lady and I am going to miss her.
She is now with her beloved George - as it should be.

Marilyn Shear - 09/17/2013

Madelyn and George were friends of my late husband's parents, Gordon and Kathy Besser. Kathy and Madelyn were in "club." And the four of them were members of Calvary Baptist and "Friendly Mixers." Prior to her death in 2006, we tried, unsuccessfully, to find Madelyn, so Kathy could have a visit with her. They're all together now. Rest in peace.

Mrs. Bell was a neighbor of my parents and was a lovely person. I just sent her a card and it came back and I resent it to what was probably her lawyer. Another great part of our neighborhood gone.

Bruce Cusson - 11/25/2013

I met Madelyn when we helped her move to West Bay Manner and then to the Scandinavian Home. What a sweet and classy lady. Sorry she didn't make it to 100 but now she is at peace.
