Marilyn F. Mastrostefano

Marilyn (Utton) Mastrostefano 71, of Cranston passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday May 28, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late John B. Mastrostefano.  She was born in Providence and was the daughter of the late Edward and Janet (Rounds) Utton. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Marilyn was a graduate of Central High School and attended Rhode Island College. She was a talented writer who penned three novels. She enjoyed traveling, drawing, reading and cake decorating. She was a communicant of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Providence where she was on the altar guild and a member of the choir. Marilyn is survived by her sons John B. Mastrostefano Jr. and his wife Gayle of Florida, Michael Mastrostefano and his wife Julie of East Providence, Daniel Mastrostefano and his wife Kelly of Providence, her cherished grandchildren Gianna, Joseph, and Victoria, her great grandson Giovanni and her loving sister Deborah (Utton) Walker of Cranston. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 7:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Visitation will be held on Monday prior to the service beginning at 4:00.
