Rubio Family - 12/02/2014

I would like to express my condolences to your family, it can be hard for friends and family to find the right words to express at difficult times like these. The Bible is a great source to look into and has helped me personally when My dad passed away. A comforting thought is at Revelation 21:3,4, where it states "...And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry be anymore the former things have past away". This scripture gives us hope for the future! You can also find comfort in Acts 24:15 - Death does not end it all. May Jehovah God bring you comfort and peace during this difficult time. (Ps.46:1, Ps.83:18)

Lisa and I are so sorry for your loss. Andy was a close personal friend who I had know for more than 40 years. I will miss not seeing him at the rink when he would come and talk about the old days. He had a beautiful heart and was always caring and eager to help anyone with their hockey game. I remember him as a 5 year old at Daniel D Waterman school. He was in kindergarten with my younger brother Paul, and I would ask to go to the bathroom so I could make faces at them while they were in class. Rest in peace Andy I will truly miss you with all of my heart.

Don Penta - 12/03/2014

In Johnston, R. I. Andy played hockey for me for four years as a centerman and was the main contributor in winning the Youth Hockey State Championship for us. Andy was, for his age of 10 years old, was so wise a hockey player with such talent and hockey smarts. Andy was my star amongst such older players, he was in my opinion, years ahead of his age in the sense of the game. He will forever be in my memories as a fun loving kid. Andy and my son had the same fate in their deaths, he will always be one of my Stars. I loved his sense of humor and talent. For as long as I live Andy will be in my prayers and in my thoughts, I shall never misplace my endearment for his grace upon the ice and within my heart! I will cherish his presence in my life. Love you kid!

Dick, Rollie, Gordy, and family... I am, truly, sorry for your loss. I got to know Andy, the hockey player, competing against him, throughout youth hockey and high school. A great player, whose, mere, presence always made me want to play my best. It wasn't until after competitive hockey, that I was fortunate enough to get to know him, off the ice. A great human being that was able to touch so many different people, in so may different ways. At this time of great sorrow, I hope you gain some level of comfort in all of the expressions shared by these people who knew him. I have three boys of my own, now. I pray they will grow up to be so well liked and admired, by so many, as Andy and the entire Ernst family. Andy, rest in peace.
