Hi Dad. I am going to miss you terribly but I know that you and Mom are together again up in Heaven. Try not to cause too much trouble! Now you can eat all the Chocolate Cake you want. I love you Dad. Rest in Peace.

Uncle Jimmy was such a great source of joy and strength for our family. We were lucky to have him in our lives and I regret not being able to see him more in the recent past but from the looks of the commercial he made in the retirement home, he was enjoying every minute! May the Walsh family find peace and comfort in the memories that will live on.

What a wonderful, upbeat, kind, fun, compassionate, loving man my Uncle Jim was. It's hard to fathom the world without him. My heart goes out to his family. The consolation, of course, is that now he is back together with the love of his life. I will never forget him.

My Uncle Jimmy was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother-in-law, community participant, uncle and Godfather to me and my oldest daughter. I was lucky enough to attend his wedding to his beloved Sandy when I was a little kid. He was a beacon of strength throughout my life. I adored him. Whenever his children were asked to describe him, they would always say "He's the Best" - and he was!

"Its been fun" so aptly sums up the joy that Uncle Jimmy brought everywhere he went. We five Cleeland sisters will always remember him with great fondness. He was the last living link to our mother, his sister, but he will live on in our memories forever. Thinking of our Walsh cousins today with sadness and hoping to see you again someday.

My deepest sympathy to the Walsh family. Jim was a great guy and I was lucky enough to get to know him during his time on the school committee and when he ran for city council.
He will be missed by many but I'm sure he is in a better place now.
