Santina (Viccione) Simone 99, of Cranston passed away in her sleep after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Vincenzo Simone and daughter of the late Nicola and Anna Maria (D'Orsi) Viccione. Santina was sister the sister of the late Bernard, Alberico, Michelina, and Elma. Sadie, as everyone called her is survived by her two daughters and their husbands; Elizabeth Ann and Ray Ponder, and Anna Maria and Thomas Walsh. Grammy or Little Gram as her grandchildren called her is survived by Curtis, Christina, Peter, Billy and great-grandchildren Ryan, Amanda, Victoria, and Billie Marie. Her greatest love was her family and baking. She could bake one wicked apple pie. She was the best mom my sister and I could ever have. She is now in heaven with the love of her life, her Jim...
The funeral service and burial will be private per the family's request.
