
Dorothy M. Margerison
Margerison, Dorothy May (Wilkinson), 86 of Warwick was surrounded by her family when she passed away on October 20, 2016. Born on March 14, 1930 in Pawtucket, Dorothy was trained at the Memorial Hospital Secretarial Program and for many years worked as a medical assistant. For 12 years, she cooked for Warwick Community Action preparing meals for their St. Paul’s Church senior lunch site and Meals on Wheels. She was a PTA president and a long time hospital volunteer. She is survived by her husband, Ronald A. Margerison,of 62 years, daughters Nancy Spencer, Kathy Margerison, Betsy VanAmersfoort, Lynn Medeiros, their husbands; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. We thank our Brentwood Nursing Home family for their exceptional care, kindness, warmth, humor and respect. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00-7:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care www.hopehospiceri.org or the Alzheimer's Association Rhode Island www.act.alz.org.
