Virginia L. Moccio
Virginia Lee Moccio, born in Providence Rhode Island on April 24, 1941 passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on Thursday June 28 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Harold G. and Flora D. (Poulin) Wall. Ginny enjoyed her friendships built while working many years in accounts payable and office management. She lived at 90 Sackett St in Providence, until 2015 when she moved to North Providence to be with her great niece's family.
Ginny had a huge heart and whether it was with advice, a helping hand, an ear to bend or a dose of tough love, she always found a way to help those she loved. She had an endless wealth of knowledge and experiences that she loved to share. Ginny was proud of and loved all of her family, both those close to her now and those she lost touch with over the years. Her renewed relationships with all of her grandchildren and the news of a great-grandson on his way brought so much joy into her life. She was grateful every day for each phone call, text and visit from her loved ones.
Whether you called her Mom, Grammie, Auntie, or Friend, I know she touched all of our lives and will be missed dearly.
Funeral arrangements are private at Virginia's request. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Research Foundation (www.gloriagemma.org) in Virgina's name.
