Kim Soo Tow

Tow, Kim Soo (Chin) 98, of Cranston, Rhode Island passed away peacefully at home on Friday July 27, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Peter F.S. Tow for over 82 years. Kim was born on October 18, 1919 in Canton China and immigrated to the United States in 1954. She had been a resident of Cranston for over 40 years. Along with her husband Peter, she was the former owner of the China Inn Restaurant in Cranston and the Mei King Restaurant in Pawtucket for many years. Besides her devoted husband Peter, Kim leaves behind her children Henry Tow, Loni Hooper (Charles), Arthur Tow (Helen) and Roger Tow (Mary). In addition, she leaves her cherished grandchildren who absolutely adored her: Phillip Tow (Yanna), Dr. Amanda Tow, Christine Hooper, Dr. Erica Tow Whitmire (Dr. Timothy), William Hooper, Jason and Cory Tow. She will also be dearly missed by her beloved great grandchildren Emily and Cody Tow. Kim will be remembered by all for her warmth and constant smile. Services will be private. Donations in Kim's memory may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care of Rhode Island 1085 North Main Street Providence, RI 02904.
