Raymond L. Healy

Raymond L. Healy 73, of Greenwood Street in Cranston died peacefully at the Providence VA Medical Center on Friday October 5th after a long illness. He was the loving husband of Norma L. Healy for 47 years.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts on November 29, 1944. He was the son of the late Raymond H. and Anita (Dubois) Healy and was a Cranston resident the last 34 years.

Raymond was a retired armed security guard and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He coached little league baseball and was an avid boxing coach for his son.

Besides his wife, he leaves behind 3 children; daughter Cindy M. Clark and husband David of Attleboro Massachusetts, son Raymond J. Healy and wife Lori of Cranston, and daughter Krissy M. Montella and husband Jeffrey of Cranston. Raymond also leaves behind grandchildren Serena M. Healy, Darion J. Etheridge, Samantha J. Healy and Brianna R. Healy.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 10th at 9:00am in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery Exeter. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00-7:00pm.
