Evelyn H. Nelson
82, of Oaklawn Avenue passed away on Friday October 26, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Barry Nelson. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Guiseppe and Gaetanella (Mezzancella) Capobianco. Mrs.Nelson worked for Leesona, Cranston School Lunch, and as Office Manager at AH Graphics Inc. She was a member St. Mary’s Woman’s Auxiliary and the Knightsville Seniors Club. Besides her husband she is survived by her sons Barry Nelson Jr. USAF Ret. (Mirella) of Church Falls, VA, Alan Nelson and Chris Nelson (Valeria) all of Cranston, grandchildren Jessica E. and Marco Nelson of VA, and Crystal Quinn of Cranston and sister Adele Buonaiuto. She was the youngest child in a family of 15 siblings and was the sister of the late John, Paul, Nicholas, Frank, Joseph,Antonio,Rocco, and Anthony Capobianco,Rose Amaral, Virginia Rafanelo, Louise Stone, Lucille Capobianco, and her twin sister Francesca. Per Evelyn’s wishes funeral services, visitation and burial were private.
