Frances R. Patterson

Frances R. Patterson, April 21, 1939 - November 27, 2018. Frances was born in Providence to the late Isabel (Skinner) Tartaglia, and was also the daughter of Peter Palumbo and Angelina Tartaglia Palumbo. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Patterson and mother of the late Raymond Patterson. She was the sister of Angelo Palumbo of Bristol, Carmine Petracar of North Carolina, Della Smith of Maine, Louise Simonelli of Cranston, Elizabeth Villanueva of Cranston, Carol Muccio of Johnston, Marie Tartaglia of Cumberland, Joanne Kates of West Warwick, and sister in law of Isabel Tartaglia of Warwick and Patricia A. Patterson of Chepachet. She was the sister of the late Margie Rameriz, Elinor DeAngelis , Delores Rea , Irene Roccio and Sandra Rocchio. Fran also lived in Las Vegas Nevada for a little over 20 years, untill she came back home to Cranston where she worked for Taco Manufacturing until her retirement. She was also a member of the Johnston Senior Center and an avid Bingo player. Francis was also a great accordion player in her younger years, received numerous accolades and won many competitions. She was stricken with Alzheimer's but still kept a great sense of humor about her. She had a pair of movie star sunglasses and would answer to name given to her "Constance Beuragard Patterson". She wore those glasses indoors and out. Most of all she loved being around her nieces and nephews who kept her upbeat and happy. May she rest in eternal peace now. Funeral services and burial will be private. Donations in her name to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care 1085 North Main Street Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.

Oh my cinderella,I will miss you so much,i already do,you knew how I felt about you,and how much you were loved.Everything happened so quick,When my Cinderella didn't respond too me that morning,I knew something was terribly wrong,and it was nothing anyone could fix,I hope your at peace now,no pain and with your loved ones together again.Mom and I will miss you bunches,until we meet again,you were an angel to care for we had a lot of funny moments,and some not so funnybut we got through it with a lot of laughs,like I use to tell you it's better too laugh then cry,and I will think about that everytime I think of you.Rest in peace ,I love you my auntie xo

I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Fran. I thought the world of her and will miss seeing her at our bingo functions. A sweet lady who reminded me of my mom in so many ways. Rest in peace my day Fran and look for my mom in heaven. ♡
