On Wednesday May 8, 2019, Barbara Jean Kindstedt slipped peacefully from this life and into the arms of the Lord she loved.
Barbara was born in Providence on December 18, 1954 to the late Henry and Rose Zannini. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Kindstedt and her sister, Louise Zannini. She was the beloved sister of Sandra Zannini, Rosalie (Bill) McCombs, Henryce Zannini (Fred Davison), and Louis Zannini.
The joy of Barbara's life were her children, Nicole Maldonado and Jeremy Pavao (Marjorie). She delighted in being the loving grandmother of Alessandra and Demetrius Maldonado and Emily and Jackson Pavao.
Barbara graduated from Cranston East High School. She worked as a secretary in several places, most recently at Greater Rhode Island Baptist Church.
Barbara will be remembered for her warm and loving personality. She always had a smile for everyone. Her sense of humor would bring light to each person she encountered. She was a loyal employee, and always gave her all. She was a faithful wife, a caring sister, a loving mother and grandmother, and a dear friend to countless people. Above all else, Barbara was a Believer, a Christ follower. None of life's circumstances ever weakened her strong faith; even when she knew there was no cure for her illness, Barbara was singing and praising her Lord. She trusted him until the very end. Above all else, she would want us to remember that about her.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday May 14th at 11:00am in The Greater Rhode Island Baptist Church 671 Greenville Avenue Johnston. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00-7:00pm in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston.
