Charles I wish you could have met my boyfriend Kevin, but not all things happen the way we want. I do know upon meeting him you probably would have told me he's a keeper and told him you're my boyfriend = ) . The moment you would walk into my parents house when I was just a little girl I could feel your presence and would run for the door. You and Betty would give me the biggest hug and kisses. Then I would steal you to play with me the whole visit. You always had the biggest smile, your laugh was loud & cheerful, and you would fill the room with warmth as you told many stories. I remember all of them and I will keep them from perishing! Thank you for sharing your life with all of us, you will never be forgotten. Betty, Chip, & Marta I love you and want you to know once again we are here for you. Love always Ashley & Kevin

The time I spent with you I will keep it with me all my life. I can't see you with my eyes but I'll always see with my mind.

Darlene and Russ RE Simpson - 09/18/2019

From the moment we met, you lightened our lives, with you smile, laugh, and contagious personality.
From the moment we had Ashley, being new parents, you offered so much help, caring and loving our little girl, your girlfriend, helping us with the things you never expect as a new parent.
We spent many holidays enjoying the warmth of you, Betty, and Chip with the family. We always had many laughs.
We were so fortunate to receive your help and support through the more difficult times with the house.
You were there for all of us time and time again, forever holding a special place in our hearts.
We will always love and miss you, we will miss your smile, hugs and warmth, your laugh, and the wonderful person you let us know and enjoy. Your love for our family will always be in our hearts...you were our Godsend!
Betty, Chip, Marta and family, You have lost a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, but be at peace with your loss. God knew what a great man Charles was and would not let him suffer. His passing was so quick, there is no doubt God was waiting for him with open arms. Always know he brought so much to so many, he was a treasure to everyone! Love to all of you ♥️

Pat McWey - 09/19/2019

Since they met in Jamaica it has been an incredible journey for Betty and Charles. They always worked, laughed and supported each other throughout their marriage. When Chip was born, they were overjoyed. Chip continues to emulate Betty and Charles’ values and work ethics. Ethan and Logan completed the family picture.

Betty used her amazing creativity to make holidays special events. I am sure all the happy memories they shared with Charles will stay with them forever. Marta, Chip, Ethan and Logan take care of Betty. RIP Charles.
