Wing W. Look
Wing Wah Look passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness surrounded by his love ones at the age of 87 in Warwick, Rhode Island on Wednesday October 2, 2019.
Wing is survived by his wife Shuk, and children Henri, Kenny, Mary and grandson James. Wing was also the father to the late Szetat.
Wing was born in Canton, China to his father Kim Yuk Look and his mother Toy May Mark. He lived in Hong Kong, China, New York City, New York, and Providence, Rhode Island before settling down in Warwick, Rhode Island.
A graduate of Chicago Institute of Technology, he worked in Hong Kong as a civil engineer before moving with his family for a better future to the United States. He was the president of New Canton Restaurant since 1976. His passion was cooking and creating great tasting food for people to enjoy. Cooking was his heart and soul. "Among the most important things in life, food is one of them." This is, and will always, be his motto.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 10:00am until 12:00noon in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue Cranston. Burial in Highland Memorial Park 1 Rhode Island Avenue Johnston will follow.
