He grew up to become a wonderful man who later joined the German Army and then furthered his passion for food and cooking by serving apprenticeships to become the wonderful and talented chef that he was. He came to the United States in 1978. He quickly became a well known chef and worked in several places such as Rockafellar Center and Robert Day Dean Catering Company in New York City. He also became appointed one of the head chefs to prepare the inaugural dinners for President Reagan's both elections. In later years Wolfgang worked for various restaurants, markets and catering companies. The last company being Tom's Market and Catering in Coventry, RI.
