Vera Juriw was a devoted wife and mother. She was kind and generous and will be sorely missed. Her cooking was wonderful and delicious, and she loved her coffee. Life was a challenge for her having lost both parents by the time she was eight. She married and came to America sixty years ago and was always proud of being an American citizen. She was widowed two years ago and greatly missed her husband, William. Her passing was as peaceful as she was in life. Her family will always cherish her memory. She is survived by her son Alex, his wife , Barbara and daughter, Colleen as well as her daughter, Lora Glascom and husband, John. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 12:00noon in The Butterfield Chapel 500 Pontiac Avenue. Visitation will be on Monday fron 5:00-7:00pm.

Vera will be sadly missed and was a good friend and neighbor for over thirty years. She always had a smile and loved our Grand Daughter Vanessa. We will always have found memories of both Bill and Vera in our hearts forever

All though I only met you a couple of times. You touched my heart in a very special way. Your smile made me smile and be thankful for this earth. I am going to miss seeing you when I go over to my sisters. May you have peace.

Dear Laura, John and Family,
We are sincerely sorry for your loss. Your mom was a wonderful neighbor. We will miss her shaking her rugs and mops at her back door where we would wave to her! You all did a fabulous job caring for your parents. They are at peace together now. God Bless.
