David Paiva Jr.

David Paiva Jr. 65, of West Warwick passed away on Thursday January 29, 2026 after a long illness.

Born in Providence, and raised in the Edgewood section of Cranston, David was a son of Maria Paiva and the late David Paiva Sr.  Besides his mother, he is survived by his son Joseph, sister Elizabeth (Dennis) DeJesus, brother Edward (Kim) as well as his nieces and nephews.

David served in the United States Army during which time he was stationed in Germany and Fort Lewis, Washington. David had an aptitude for humor and wore a genuine smile.  He was also an avid Patriots fan and fishing enthusiast.

Services and burial were private.
