Scott L. Peterson

Scott L. Peterson 39, of Providence died peacefully in his sleep on January 6, 2026 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was born in Providence on April 13, 1986. He is survived by his mother Wendy G. Peterson, sister Angel L. (Peterson) Arefein, five children and two stepchildren: Lee, Jacob, Marley, Elias, Alexander Peterson, Christin and Christopher Torres.  He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly.  He was predeceased by his father Daniel Peterson Sr. and brother Daniel Peterson Jr.  

A Celebration of Life will be held in People’s Baptist Church 1275 Elmwood Avenue Providence on Sunday February 1, 2026 from 4:00-7:00pm.
